This listing is for a factory German Heckler & Koch HK MP5/MP5K 15-round 9mm magazine carrying LEO Restricted language.

This magazine was produced by HK after the standard capacity magazine restrictions were established because of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. During a 10 year window of time, HK sold magazines bearing restricted use language on their magazines bodies.

After the sunset of the Assault Weapons Ban, these markings were no longer deemed necessary as standard capacity magazines were once again able to be sold on the US civilian market.

Early versions of these magazines were engraved before H&K transitioned to a laser application. Note that engraved models do have a higher tendency to display rust on the lettering as the metal is exposed if the magazine was stored poorly.
